Built in tools

Additionally, the Tools unit that comes with the package implements a triangle tool, a filled arrow tool and  a rhomb tool.

File format support

Built in mouse and key combinations

Selecting objects using the mouse:
Left mouse button + Ctrl key selects an unselected object.
Left mouse button + Ctrl key deselects a selected object

Multi select mode:
Left mouse button + Ctrl key adds an unselected object to the selection.
Left mouse button + Ctrl key removes a selected object from the selection.
To simulate single select mode when multi select mode is active, use the Alt key instead of Ctrl key.

Moving objects
Mouse: Clicking the mouse on a selected object starts a moving operation. Dragging the mouse after clicking moves the object(s).

Keyboard: Simultaneously pressing the Ctrl key + one of the arrow keys when a selection is active, moves the selected object(s) one pixel in the arrow direction.

Sizing objects
Mouse: Dragging a size button resizes the object in the size button direction.

Keyboard: Simultaneously pressing the Shift key + one of the arrow keys when a selection is active, resizes the selected object one pixel in the arrow direction.

Rotating objects
Clicking and dragging the rotation wheel in the center of the figure rotates the figure in the dragging direction. Alternately clicking and dragging the figure at any point.

Custom hotspots
Mouse: Clicking and dragging a custom hotspot executes hotspot processing.

Keyboard; Simultaneously pressing the Ctrl key +  Shift key +  one of the arrow keys when a hotspot is selected, moves the selected hotspot one pixel in the arrow direction an executes hotspot processing.

Duplication
Clicking the mouse on a selected object while holding down the Shift key, creates a duplicate of the selected object(s) that consequently can be dragged to the desired location.

If the selected object is the Selector, ImagePainter creates a copy of the selected area, which consequently can be dragged to the desired location

Scrolling
An image can be scrolled 1 pixel by pressing one of the arrow keys.
The home and end key scroll the image to its leftmost / rightmost positions. Holding down the Ctrl key scrolls it to the top left / bottom right position.
The page keys scroll one page up and one page down.

Canceling operations
Pressing the ESQ key has the following effect:
Unselects all selected objects
Removes the selector
Cancels draw operations that have been paused
Cancels text mode an restores the last saved text

Standard short cuts
Unless DisableShortCuts is set, you can use standard short cuts to perform the following operations:
Ctrl + C: Copies the selected object(s) to the clipboard
Ctrl + X: Cuts the selected object(s) to the clipboard
Ctrl + V: Paste clipboard content into the image.
Ctrl + Z: Undo last change
Ctrl + Y: Redo last change
Ctrl + A: Selects all (if multi selection is active)
Del: Deletes the selected object(s).
